 US customers getting ready for Nokia Lumia 530

The most affordable Lumia to date, Nokia Lumia 530, is headed to the US market. From tomorrow, Cricket Wireless will be offering the low-class Windows phone for just $49.99 without new commitment but after activation of ‘qualified wireless service’.

The Lumia 530 will be offered in both physical stores and online, so users can purchase the 4-inch device running Windows Phone 8.1. Cortana, rear-facing camera, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB storage, and a microSD slot are some of the key specs found on this dirty cheap device.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile UK has also announced the Lumia 530 which is coming in the T-Mobile stores on October 15, and is priced at $79.20 off-contract. The carrier is also partnering with Microsoft and Best Buy so the Lumia 530 will be offered on their online stores, with sales starting from October 5.
