You can finally ‘Share to Skype’ from other apps
Skype UWP app update introduces new Share UI
Microsoft has updated the Skype app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile to version 11.19.820.0. Along with the UI changes, including the removal of the hamburger menu, the new Skype UWP app finally allows you to share files, photos and videos from other apps.
For example, if you press the Share button in the Photo app, you will finally see the name of Skype in the Share UI. Tap on it and you will open the new Skype-share feature, allowing you to quickly send the photo to anyone in your friends list. You can send the file to just one person, or select more than one. Moreover, you can attach multiple photos from the Share UI, although this option is not available from the app menu. You can also share website links and other items using the Skype share feature.
This update for the Skype app on Windows 10 may be the first of the many upcoming changes that should introduce the new ‘Skype experience’ on the platform.
