Microsoft is working on a fix and a new Redstone build

A bug in the Windows Insider Ring selection prevents Microsoft from releasing a new Redstone build for Mobile this week.

The company has acknowledged the problem that some users face when trying to select an Insider ring from Settings → Windows Insider Program. For those who are affected, the Ring selector is not active and they can see a label ‘Disabled’.

Microsoft aims to fix the bug, found only in Windows 10 Mobile Build 14342.1004, in the coming days, which means the next Redstone build for Slow and Fast Ring Insiders won’t be released before Tuesday next week. The company explains that no action is required on your part because the problem is on the server-side.

Insider-app

Microsoft has recently removed the Windows Insider app from Windows 10 Mobile Redstone, and the app has been integrated into the platform’s Settings → Updated & Security.
