BLU has just launched its second (and more premium) Windows Phone in the US so you can order the 5-inch device right now through Amazon.com.

BLU Win HD has a polycarbonate body with removable back and is available in four colours. This phone costs $170 off-contact and for that price you will get some pretty decent specs and eye-catching design.

Up front is a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution and a front-facing 2MP camera. Inside the phone is the quad-core Snapdragon running at 1.2 GHz supported by 1 GB of RAM. On the back side at the top you will see a decent 8MP camera with LED flash, while the speaker is positioned at the bottom. When removing the back cover, you can reach the 2200 mAh battery, and get access to the microSD slot supporting up to 32GB, so you can expand the 8 GB internal memory.

The BLU Win HD could be a direct competitor to Nokia’s Lumia 635 which has a lower price ($135). Some advantages of the Win HD are: physical Windows buttons, HD screen, more RAM (1GB), more megapixels, and more elegant design.

So, the Win HD looks like a really interesting budget device and if you are looking for something different than Lumia but offering the same Windows experience, BLU could one of the best brands right now.
