US Carrier AT&T has today announced that Nokia smartphones will start receiving Windows Phone 8.1 along with Lumia Cyan update this week. The first model on the queue is Lumia 1520 but we assume the rest of the Lumia phones are not far behind.

To update a Windows Phone head to ‘Settings’ and press ‘Phone update’ -> ‘Check for update’. The update process should take 15-30 minutes, and after that you will have the latest Windows Phone firmware and Lumia exclusive features on your device. Interesting new features are Cortana virtual assistant, Notification Center, Device hub, new Customization options and much more. Watch the video for more info.
