The US carrier finally rolls out the OTA update to the Lumia 830

Nokia Lumia 830 for AT&T is finally getting the official OTA update to Windows 10 Mobile. The US carrier has informed on its support page that Windows 10 Mobile has begun rolling out to the smartphone.

AT&T customers with the Lumia 830 need to install the Upgrade Advisor app on their devices and enable them for the update. Once the phone is enabled, the OTA update will be downloaded on the phone, bringing it to Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.218 upon installing. This build is not the latest one, but the AT&T’s Lumia 830 should see a newer build (10586.494) of Windows 10 Mobile with all latest fixes and improvements.

Windows 10 Mobile for AT&T Lumia 830 comes just a few days before Microsoft starts rolling out the Anniversary Update of Windows 10 to PCs and phones. Since the Windows 10 updates are not dependent on carriers in most of the cases, all AT&T phones which are already on Windows 10 should be able to install the latest version of the OS soon after it rolls out to the unlocked devices around the world.
