AT&T Lumia 1520 priced at $199, $549 off contract, ships on November 22
Windows Phone Area understands that the next flagship smartphone, the 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520, arrives on November 22 at AT&T in the USA. The new Windows Phone with a fast quad-core 2.2 GHz processor and a 20 MP camera was available for pre-orders on Microsoft’s online store for a short time and pulled back later. It seems Microsoft has posted the device by mistake, because WPCentral claims the phone will be pushed back to Friday, November 22 instead of November 15, as planned earlier.
So, it seems the phone ships on November 22, priced at $199 with a new agreement or $549 off contract. The Lumia 1520 is available in white, black, red and yellow
As you know, AT&T will be the exclusive carrier for Nokia’s latest flagship device. Similar to all previous high-end smartphones like the Lumia 900, 920 and 1020, AT&T’s customers will be the first to get the new model. At present, details about international availability and price level are not known, though we expect the price to be slightly higher due to the Qi wireless charging and 32 GB of internal storage (in comparison – AT&T’s version has just 16 GB and PMA wireless charging instead of Qi).
According to our sources, Nokia Lumia 1520 is likely to arrive in the UK by the year’s end. Meanwhile, some European retailers have started taking early pre-orders. In Switzerland, the latest Windows Phone is listed for 699 EUR, while in Finland the Lumia 1520 costs 17.90 EUR per month with a new three year agreement. The Finish carrier will ship the smartphone around 4th of December.
