$250 without a contract with AT&T Next plans

AT&T has announced the exclusive availability of the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL in the US, which will be offered from June 26 in white or black color.

The US carrier will sell the 5.7–inch LTE-capable smartphones in retail stores and online for $0 down on the carrier’s Next plans. There are three options: 30 monthly payments of $8.34 on Next 24; 24 payments of $10.40 on Next 18; or 20 payments of $12.50 on Next 12.

As a quick reminder, the 640 XL features a 5.7 inch HD screen, Snapdragon 400 processor ticking over at 1.2 GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, a 13MP back and a 5MP front camera. There is a large 3000mAh battery under the removable back cover.
