Unlocked edition + VR can be yours for $225

Alcatel has once again reduced the price of its Windows 10 flagship phone, the Idol 4S, in the United States where the unlocked edition can be yours for just $225 contract-free and unlocked. It could be used with any GSM / 4G LTE carrier in the world, including AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.

Alcatel gradually reduced the price of the Idol 4S from $468 after the phone launches for T-Mobile in 2016. What’s interesting here, that Microsoft keeps selling the device for the same price of $470 at its official webstore.

Alcatel Idol 4S is one of the few up-to-date Windows phones you could buy right now, along with the Elite x3 and the Acer Jade Primo. Microsoft already removed the Lumia phones from its webstores in several countries, and we don’t know anything about the company’s plans for the future. It’s believed that a high-end mobile device codenamed Andromeda will be release sometime in 2018 running Windows 10 (Mobile) with CShell.
