Insider Preview build 14905 introduces new sounds

If the recent official Anniversary Update for PCs and phones is not enough for you, and you want to test all latest Windows features under development, Microsoft gives you an opportunity to install early Redstone 2 builds via the Insider Program. Released in the Fast Ring, build 14905 introduces a couple of new features and improvements for PCs and phones.

Microsoft has added a new sound set that is described as “more beautiful and harmonious”. The updated sounds are available in Settings → Personalization → Sounds.

Additionally, this build fixes several things for PCs, but has some bugs and issues for both PC and mobile. Read the list with issues first, before jumping on the Fast boat.

With Build 14905, Microsoft begins rolling out preview builds from the Redstone 2 branch to members of the Insider program. The next major update for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, codenamed Redstone 2, should debut officially around Spring 2017 and coincide with a hardware refresh of the Surface line-up.
