Acer Liquid Jade Primo arrives in February for €569
Acer officially announced a Continuum-enabled smartphone
Briefly presented in September 2015, Acer’s first Windows 10 phone called Liquid Jade Primo is finally ready to hit the market in early 2016. Sales start next month, and according to Acer, the price is EUR 569. The so-called pocket-PC comes with specs and price similar to the Microsoft’s Lumia 950, but in an attempt to attract customers Acer will sell the device with a Display Dock for Continuum.
Acer Liquid Jade Primo is built around a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 3 Gigs of RAM. The screen type is AMOLED, and you will get a 5.5-inch panel with Full HD resolution. Among the other specs you can find a 21MP camera with f2.2, 8MP front camera, 32GB of storage, and USB Type-C.
Acer will start selling the Liquid Jade Primo in February in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Acer is the first OEM (except Microsoft) to offer a premium Windows 10 phone with Continuum support, but it won’t be surprising if other manufacturers see a potential in the Windows mobile market and release new products in the coming months.
