More Lumia 930 smartphones receiving latest OS and firmware

Microsoft has announced a wider roll out of the Denim update to Lumia smartphones. After releasing Denim to a limited number devices and countries, the latest OS version along with camera improvements become available to more Nokia Lumia 930 variants.

You can check if the update is available for you to download through the special Microsoft Lumia Update tracker or by going to Settings -> Phone Update

At the moment, the Lumia Denim update is available for Lumia 930 in the following countries:

• Europe: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, UK
• Middle East: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen
• Asia Pacific: Hong Kong, Taiwan
• Latin America: Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Mexico

Many of the low-end and mid-range Lumia smartphones including Lumia 520, 620, 720, 1320, and 525 received the Windows 8.1 Update 1 (Denim) during the first wave in December. Microsoft is expected to complete the update process within a month’s time.
